This is painted, dancing, toothsome, heartwarming, implacable, luministic, ominous, lurking, flat. It's telling lies in so many ways. An packet whose flap is riveted closed. A pumpkin in mercator projection. Trompe-l'oeil nervous before the blackness welling behind its teeth. A tarnish which holds my reflection imperfectly, spotted, see-through, burning the eye like the sun. There's a tear in the capillary flush on the skin. No, I'm sure the whole thing's some kind of seascape: Storm at Sea, with a shady figure entering on the right.
Are you satisfied with the resolution? Is it as sharp as you want it to be?
What are you going to do about printing? Never print? Wait to be asked? Is it high enough res for a great print? Interesting to think of this presentation as the end form: This IS all there is. I REALLY want to see this in slideshow mode without the browser frame. I wish Firefox had a banish the frame/go to slideshow command.
Way awesome treat Dave.
Dave Bonta: Thanks, Bill. I'm glad this resonated with you. I'm not satisfied with the sharpness, no — I'll try and remember to shoot the subject again sometime. I don't think you can print from this; I can send you the full-size file if you want.
