It seems wonderfully ironic that you gather morels in a Target bag!
Dave Bonta: Accidental irony, I assure you - it was simply the top bag in the drawer. (What did I buy from Target? Oh yes, a second pair of long johns.) But once I peeked in the bag, I knew I had to take a picture. Also, I lugged my camera to the collection site only to discover that the batteries were dead, so this was my only photo option.
Is it possible these could turn up in a backyard? I found a similar mushroom in our yard the other day.
