Took me a few seconds to click about the title — nice one. I like the toning here; the blue-grey suits the subject well. Not quite so sure about the contrast; the graphical elements don't seem quite strong enough to suit a high contrast approach, and in that respect I'd prefer to see the laces a little more obvious because they provide a visual/figurative link to the web. While it's a well-seen photo, I can't honestly say it catches me in the same way as your recent photo of the semi-skeletonised cardinal. That's a stunner — apologies for not yet having commented on it.
